Clare Curtis

Recently graduating from Canterbury Christ Church University with an MA in ceramics, Clare has continued to explore her favoured medium, creating both sculptural and functional pieces. Her popular fragmented vessels she says,

‘explore the aesthetic qualities of the form beyond the perceived function. The organic broken lines and surface qualities are in contrast to the controlled making methods of my pieces. The fragmented surfaces are in denial of their function’.

We just love them because they’re so unusual!
